About Garth

I’m Garth, team leader and founder of Cape Town Property Dad & Co. which is a team of independent contractors operating under Mandated Property Group. As a full-status property practitioner with a lifelong connection to Cape Town, I have a deep love for this city that I grew up in. Born in Table View in 1979, raised in the Southern Suburbs, and having spent my young adult life on the Atlantic Seaboard, I’ve now called Parklands, Blouberg home for the past 18 years. This journey has given me a unique perspective. I don’t just know the streets and suburbs, I understand the stories, the rhythms, and the little details that make each neighbourhood special.

With my IT & customer service background and expertise, I combine old-fashioned service values with modern tools and tech to guide my clients through one of life’s biggest decisions with confidence.

Having completed my internship by achieving my NQF4 in real estate and passing the PDE4 exam, I now have the professional designation of Professional Practitioner in Real Estate(PPRE).

I’m passionate about helping people find more than just a property, I want them to find a place where they can truly belong. Whether it’s sharing the best local coffee spots, pointing out the perfect sunset-viewing bench, or explaining the history behind the local spots, I love connecting people to the lifestyle as much as the home itself.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me spending time with my husband, daughter and our dog either reading, singing, exploring new tech or hiking/walking in nature.
